I'm at Cyber when I should totally be at Rolland, working on my Computer Graphics project. I'm supposed to have a meeting with a girl to discuss her involvement in Buddhism for World Perspective's day. I'll give her ten or so more minutes. She's only about 6 minutes late. And while I'm still here, I might as well grab a bagel once Lunch is available. I guess now I'm just waiting aound and dreading the walk to Rolland. At least it's closer now than what it would had been at the dorms...
My computer graphics project is to create a travel poster in the style of the 1920's or 1950's/1960's. I chose RMS Queen Mary, located in Long Beach, California. I had hoped my instructor would give me the approval because I just love her (Mary) so much! She's gorgeous! I know I've only been able to meet her once, but her memory will be engraved in my mind forever <3 I'm planning on visiting her some time soon before I settle down and start a career. My parents shouldn't mind that, right?
Unfortunately, I'm stressing over my project of the Queen Mary. As beautiful as she is, her details are somewhat of a challenge on Adobe Illustrator. Oh! And my free trial to Illustrator expired
I used to cheat the system (shame on me) by uninstalling the program before the trial expired. I've done it twice already but this last time the expiration date slipped my mind so now the free trial to Illustrator will never work on my laptop again. I'll have to buy the product key if I have any hope in using Illustrator on it again... But maybe I can google something to get me around it?
Because of that situation, I'll start spending my time at Rolland. It doesn't help that I also have other things, like studying for my Psych exam and finishing a watercolor painting, to do.
Yay! She just came in, and we discussed Buddhism. I'm signing off now so that I can grab a bagle and walk over to Rolland.
Hope my day gets less stressful :]
